The Magnificent Nollywood Diva: Mercy Aigbe Adeoti

Mercy Aigbe Adeoti is a Nigerian actress, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. She was born on January 1, 1978, in Edo State, Nigeria. She is of Yoruba descent and grew up in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Mercy Aigbe started her acting career in 2001, and has since featured in over 150 Nollywood movies. Some of her popular movies include “Victims,” “Afefe Ife,” “Asiri,” “Ile Oko Mii,” “Okanjua,” “Ara,” “Osas,” “Igberaga,” “Adunni,” and “Oju Ife.”

In addition to acting, Mercy Aigbe is also a filmmaker. She produced her first movie, “The Victim,” in 2013, and has since produced other movies such as “Osas,” “Victims,” and “Ara.” She has also directed a few movies including “Victims,” “Osas,” and “Oju Ife.”

Mercy Aigbe is known for her fashion sense and has been recognized as a style icon in Nigeria. She owns a clothing line, Mag Divas Boutique, which specializes in selling women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories.

She has won several awards for her acting and filmmaking career. Some of these awards include Best Actress in Yoruba at the City People Awards in 2014, Best Indigenous Language (Yoruba) Actress at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in 2016, and Best Supporting Actress at the Best of Nollywood Awards in 2015.

Mercy Aigbe is also a philanthropist and has been involved in several charitable activities. She is married and has two children.
