The 9th African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) happened on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
The prestigious event, held at the Eko Hotel, honoured African cinema stars.
Patience Ozokwor, a veteran actress, received the industry’s Merit Award for her outstanding contributions to the film industry. ‘Brotherhood’ by Jade Osiberu and ‘Anikulapo’ Kunle Afolayan both won several accolades in various categories.
